Airtime

Airtime is how long a message is broadcasted for. On wireless computer networks the amount of airtime being consumed by other devices on the same radio frequency determines how much airtime is available to your devices.

Ubiquiti includes an airTime feature which allows one to analyze a given radio frequency to determine what other devices are utilizing the frequency, how much of the time they are broadcasting, how much noise is on the frequency, and so on.

BCDR

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery – “Your BCDR strategy requires keeping your data safe and recoverable, and keeping your business workloads, applications, and services continuously available.”

Receive Side Scaling (RSS)

By default network connections are handled by a single CPU core. RSS allows multiple connections to be given to multiple CPU cores.

Free Lossless Image Format – FLIF

“FLIF is a novel lossless image format which outperforms PNG, lossless WebP, lossless BPG, lossless JPEG2000, and lossless JPEG XR in terms of compression ratio.”
